Hi folks,

I am super excited to be a part of Reverse Confetti's 9th Birthday Blog Hop :) For this special occasion, I was inspired by one of the stamp sets that is a part of the release - Love Wins. A portion of the sales from this set will be donated to both Human Rights Campaign and The Trevor Project. How amazing is that?

For this Pride themed card, I started off by ink blending a rainbow themed background using dye inks. For the 'land', I used a strip of ink blended linen cardstock. As always, I added some paint splatters for extra glam! Then, I colored a bunch of images from the Birthday Buddies stamp set and arranged them such that the colors match the background. I finished off my card by adding a sentiment from 'All You Need' :)

Absolutely love how this turned out! Check out the next person on the hop for more inspiration :)

Hey folks,

A new challenge is up on RC and it's all about Encouragement and Congratulations! As always, I like to come up with ways stretch your supplies... I have a fun little way to make small handmade gifts for friends :) I am someone who loves to drink warm infused drinks or tea when I am stressed. It relaxes me and calms my nerves! So, for today's post, I will show you a fun little way to make cute tea bags that will definitely encourage someone right before their big day!

This is super easy to put together.. Trust me! I first started off by folding a paper in half such that a tea bag fits inside. To decorate the top, I die cut a fancy border using RC's Outlined Frame Cover Panel die. I then ink blended the bottom half using shades of blue ink. I also used the heart from the Big Love die to make a tiny window so that your special someone gets a quick sneak peak into the flavor of the tea! I added some acetate and added the outline heart on top as well. Later, I got rid of the Tea Tag and attached images from the Love is in the Air set instead! That's it... Wasn't that simple?

Supplies Used:

If you'd like, you can make a tiny a little matching gift box to go along with the tea bags! I hope this project inspired you to take part in this month's challenge :)

Happy Crafting,
Kavya

Hi folks,

Welcome to Reverse Confetti's February bloghop! I have a fun project that showcases a totally new way to use some products from the Jan release... who doesn't like versatile products?

I used the newly released Pencil and Treat holder to make a book mark! The die cut slot is perfect for marking your last read page and also makes cute gifts! I first started off by die cutting an A2 cardbase using the the Pencil an Treat holder die. I then used the Outlined Frame Cover Panel die to die cut a fancy border. Punch a hole at the top to finish your bookmark base!

To decorate my bookmark, I then ink blended it using shades of red, pink and peach dye inks. I wanted some glam so I decided to apply some glimmer paste to the top of the bookmark for some Ombre look. Not sure if I succeeded, but I definitely like how it turned out!

I finished off my bookmark by adding some colored images from Love is in the Air and Picture Perfect stamp set. To make it a bit more fancy, I also used some embroidery floss in different shades of red and pink to make a tassel for the top!

Supplies Used:

Wasn't that simple and cute? If you haven't gotten the pencil and treat die yet, I highly recommend it! You can use it in three different ways and make so many cute gifts for all occasions!

Hi folks,

There is a new Stock your Stash challenge at Reverse Confetti blog and the theme is ‘Love is in the Air’! This theme perfectly aligns with this month’s release and I was excited to get another opportunity to play with the release. I used a bunch of products to create a non-red/pink/purple card!

I first started off by ink blending my A2 panel using shades of blue and green. I then used the Outlined Frame Cover Panel die to die cut and also cut an inner rectangle so that I can use it as a border. I used the inner rectangle to die cut the inner part of the Big Love die and white glitter card stock to die cut the outline. Later, I stamped an image from the Love is in the Air stamp set and colored using alcohol markers and colored pencils. Finally, I added a left over bow from my previous project and stamped a sentiment from Words of Love to finish of the card!

Be sure to check the Reverse Confetti blog for instructions to enter the challenge!

Thanks,
Kavya

Hi folks,

Today is the new release hop at Reverse Confetti and I am showcasing the new Layered XOXO Confetti cuts and Love is in the Air stamp and die set. This stamp set has so many cute critters so I combined it with the XOXO die to create a fun card!

This is another fun card and the ink blended background allows the adorable images to stand out! I first started out by ink blending the background using shades of pink. I then ink blended another piece of paper using darker shades of pink and used this card stock to die cut the outline for XOXO. I then die cut the inner XOXO using white glitter card stock. Then, I stamped images from Love is in the Air and colored them using colored pencils and alcohol markers. I had some left over elements from yesterday’s Picture Perfect stamp set so I used them to decorate the rest of the card. That’s it! Isn’t that easy and simple?

Hi folks,

Today is Day 3 of the release and we are showcasing the new Picture Perfect stamp and die set. This stamp set has so many cute elements and sentiments that go along with the main images and you don’t even need other stamps to finish the scene!

This card is easy to make and doesn’t require much effort other than coloring the images. I first started off by ink blending a white card stock panel using shades of navy blue at the top and shades of purple and pink at the bottom. I then stamped images from the set and colored them using alcohol markers and colored pencils. Finally, I heat embossed a sentiment using white embossing powder.
