It’s Time to Party! - Spellbinders
Hi folks,
This June, Spellbinders is celebrating an exciting milestone – their 23rd birthday! To mark the occasion, they have created something extra special for our crafting community: the adorable Party Time Dragon Etched Dies, an exclusive gift with purchase available only during our anniversary celebration.

Spellbinders is turning 23!! Can you imagine? 23? I was first introduced to Spellbinders when I was in middle school so I have practically known the brand and their amazing products my whole life! My first dies were the Nestabilities!
For today’s project, I have a simple birthday card that uses the Dino as the main focal point.
Steps:
1. Start off by die cutting the pieces of the dino using Blue Spruce, Peridot, Fern and Classic White cardstock.

2. To make the dino dimensional, we will ink blend the edges of the die cuts with distress oxide inks. I used Chipped Sapphire for the body, Shabby Shutters for the nose and the body and Pine Needles for the horn and wings.

4. To make it dimensional and give it some life, add a few details using Copic markers and a white gel pen.

6. Ink blend the balloons in rainbow using Festive Berries, Picked Raspberry, Abandoned Carol, Spiced Marmalade, Fossilized Amber, Mowed Lawn and Mermaid Lagoon distress oxide inks.

8. Die cut the card base using Chiffon and Bellini cardstock and Make a Wish Arch Labels dies.
