Oh! What a Day! - New Kit from TE!
Hi folks,
I am back on the blog with inspiration for the new kit from TE! This kit provides endless opportunities to create fun and unique cards. Grab our adorable Oh, What a Day! Cardmaking Kit and get everything you need to make handmade cards all year long! Our Oh, What a Day! Kit retails for $75, comes in a zippered pouch with a custom sticker, and includes:

Most items are not available to purchase individually. You will be able to purchase additional envelope seals (pack of 10) and Bits & Pieces – Rainbow Rhinestones separately.

Beginning with this kit, the vast majority of the individual items included in the kits will not be available to purchase individually in the future. While we may, on rare occasions, release a kit item into our regular inventory at a later time, this will no longer be an option for the majority of the products. Instead, they will remain exclusive to the kits and may only be purchased as part of a kit while supplies last.

As you may know, our curated cardmaking kits can sell out quickly, so if you see a kit that you love, we encourage you to purchase it when it is released as it will not be restocked once it is sold out. We intend to release a kit the last Tuesday of each month at 9am (Central), and a sneak preview will be posted on the TE Blog on the Saturday prior to the release.

My first card is inspired by an art gallery wall filled with Old Masters paintings. I first started off with an A2 sized cardstock of Mulled Wine as my card base aka gallery wall. Then, I diecut frames for the paintings using Focal Frame die, Circle Window frame and Square Window frame using Dijon cardstock. Then, I stamped and colored images from the kit using a color palette that I think best represents an 'Old Master'. I finished it off by using a thin strip for the wall hanging and embossed sentiments from the kit and Simple Strips - Man Myth Legend.
My next card is inspired by what seems to be everyone's favorite tv show but.... something that I haven't watched yet - Friends! The frame die just reminded me of the quintessential yellow peephole frame! I started off by ink blending the Dotted Diamonds stencil and the edges of Plum Punch cardstock. I then diecut a yellow frame using Pineapple cardstock and added a peephole using a black and white gel pen. I then added a dog and a chick to represent the White Dog and the episode, 'The One with a Chick and a Duck'. Finally, I added a sentiment from the set and added the circle dots just like the font in teh show using TE Tiny Diamonds.
