Hi folks,

There is a new Stock your Stash challenge at Reverse Confetti blog and the theme is ‘Love is in the Air’! This theme perfectly aligns with this month’s release and I was excited to get another opportunity to play with the release. I used a bunch of products to create a non-red/pink/purple card!

I first started off by ink blending my A2 panel using shades of blue and green. I then used the Outlined Frame Cover Panel die to die cut and also cut an inner rectangle so that I can use it as a border. I used the inner rectangle to die cut the inner part of the Big Love die and white glitter card stock to die cut the outline. Later, I stamped an image from the Love is in the Air stamp set and colored using alcohol markers and colored pencils. Finally, I added a left over bow from my previous project and stamped a sentiment from Words of Love to finish of the card!

Be sure to check the Reverse Confetti blog for instructions to enter the challenge!

Thanks,
Kavya

Hey folks,

Taylored Expressions has a new kit out and you know how much I love the kits! Just like every other one, this one too is versatile and can be used in so many ways! Here’s everything included the Happy Hex Monogram Kit – which retails for $48:
  • Happy Hex Mini Slim Background stamp
  • Happy Hex die collection
  • Clearly Crafty Happy Hex Add-ons stamp set
  • Clearly Crafty Typewriter Alpha stamp set
  • Happy Hex Mini Slim stencil
  • 6 Sugar Cube Top Fold Mini Slim Card Bases
  • 6 Custom Envelope Seals
  • 6 Colored Mini Slim Envelopes
  • 1 Mini Slim Clear Card Box
  • Packaged in a zippered pouch with a custom kit label

I made 4 different projects using this set and all of them are monogrammed so that I can gift it to a friend. I created my cardbases by using the Petite Scallop Mini Slimline Stacklets and Stitched Mini Slim Stacklets along with Candy Corn, Jelly Donut, Granny Smith and Lollipop card stock. Here is how I made them:

  • My first card is pink-purple ink blended card. I first started off by masking the lower portion of the card and then ink blending it using Candy Corn, Lollipop and Jelly Donut. I then used the hexagon stencil to stencil using the same colors. I then stamped the top half using Mini Slim background stamp using Oreo ink and stenciled the hexagons using the Candy Corn, Lollipop and Jelly Donut. I stamped the Monogrammed Letter and hexagon border using Candy Corn and Jelly Donut.
  • My second card is a simple card made by using the Happy Hex slimline stencil three times. I used Strawberry Milkshake, Lollipop and Jelly Donut to ink blend each time. I then used the same colors to stamp the tiny patterns from the Happy Hex Add on stamp set. I finished it off my stamping an L and the hexagon border using Jelly Donut.

  • My next card is super simple! I just masked the left and right hexagon pattern from the background stamp and then stamped using Blue Raspberry, Granny Smith, Pineapple and Candy Corn. I finished it off by stamping the letter L and hexagon border using Blue Raspberry.
  • My last project is a custom post-it-note pad. I made the cover using the same colors as my first card!

Supply List:
The opportunities to use this kit are endless! You could make custom tags, notepad covers, envelopes, gift bags etc and there is also a clear box to go with it!

I hope you like the projects! Be sure to check what the rest of the DT has in store!

Thanks,
Kavya

Hi folks,

Today is the new release hop at Reverse Confetti and I am showcasing the new Layered XOXO Confetti cuts and Love is in the Air stamp and die set. This stamp set has so many cute critters so I combined it with the XOXO die to create a fun card!

This is another fun card and the ink blended background allows the adorable images to stand out! I first started out by ink blending the background using shades of pink. I then ink blended another piece of paper using darker shades of pink and used this card stock to die cut the outline for XOXO. I then die cut the inner XOXO using white glitter card stock. Then, I stamped images from Love is in the Air and colored them using colored pencils and alcohol markers. I had some left over elements from yesterday’s Picture Perfect stamp set so I used them to decorate the rest of the card. That’s it! Isn’t that easy and simple?

Hi folks,

Today is Day 3 of the release and we are showcasing the new Picture Perfect stamp and die set. This stamp set has so many cute elements and sentiments that go along with the main images and you don’t even need other stamps to finish the scene!

This card is easy to make and doesn’t require much effort other than coloring the images. I first started off by ink blending a white card stock panel using shades of navy blue at the top and shades of purple and pink at the bottom. I then stamped images from the set and colored them using alcohol markers and colored pencils. Finally, I heat embossed a sentiment using white embossing powder.

Hi folks,

Today is Day 2 of the release and we are showcasing the new Farmhouse Wreath stamp and die set along with Big Love and Outlined Frame Cover Panel Confetti Cuts. I used the stamp and die set to make a cute card that is perfect for Valentine’s Day!

I first started off by ink blending a white card stock panel using shades of mint and blue dye inks. I then die cut the panel using the Outlined Frame Cover Panel. The panel is perfect for adding a gorgeous detailed border to your cards and can be used when you don’t have much going on in the center of the card. I then die cut the Big Love Confetti cuts using rose gold card stock and white glitter card stock. Then, I stamped various images from Farmhouse Wreath and colored them using colored pencils and alcohol markers. I replaced the heart in ‘Love’ with a circular floral wreath from the stamp set and I love how gorgeous it looks! I finished it off by adding some clear sequins and Nuvo crystal drops!

Hi folks,

First of all, Happy New Year to you and your family! I hope 2021 is off to a great start for everyone of you :) My first post for the new year is for TE's latest release for Valentine's day. As always, there are so many creative and adorable products to make cards for your loved ones!

My first card uses the new Fill in the Blank - Love stamp set. I first ink blended the top half of Lavender Glaze cardstock using Plum Punch and Jelly Donut. I then used the Mini Slim Stencil - Swiss Hearts to stencil with Nuvo Moonstone Glimmer paste. The center portion of the card was made by die cutting the Frame in Frame 2 die using some white glitter cardstock and dry embossing a white cardstock using the Mini Slim Stencil - Swiss Hearts. Then, I stamped the letters using Jelly Donut and and the hearts from Hearts a Plenty background stamp using Pink Champagne and Lollipop inks. Finally, I used an image from the Love from Max and Millie stamp set in place of the 'O' in 'Love'!

Supply List:

My next card uses the new Half a Heart Layering stencil that can be used to create a gorgeous background for any card! I started off by ink blending my panel using Peaches and Cream and Pink Champagne dye ink. I then stenciled the hearts using Jelly Donut, Lollipop and Pink Champagne. Then, I die cut the mason jar multiple times and stamped the jar using Oreo ink. I used one inside portion of the jar to ink blend using Peaches and Cream and Pink Champagne ink so that it matches the panel. Later, I stamped a sentiment from the Handlettered Love set using Lollipop ink and used the new Bits & Pieces: Hearts to create a shaker card :) I finished off by adding a stamped images from the Love from Max and Millie stamp set and a sentiment from Building Blocks - Love Addition.

Supply List:

My final card for the release is a cute sky themed mini slimline card perfect for your bestie! I first started off by using Petite Scallop Mini Slimline Stacklets in Pink Champagne and Stitched Mini Slim Stacklets in Sugar Cube for my base. I ink blended the Sugar Cube cardstock using Lollipop, Pink Chmapagne and Peaches and Cream. Later, I stencilled using Mini Slim Stencil - Swiss Hearts using the same colors as the background. I stamped and colored some images from Love from Max and Millie stamp set and finished it off by adding some clouds from Stitched Cloud Duo and Build a Scene: Rolling Clouds.

Supply List:

That's all folks! Be sure to check out the projects by rest of the DT to see all the different ways you can use the new release!

Happy Crafting,

Hi folks,

I am super excited to be a 'Fetti Friend at Reverse Confetti for January and February. Their new Valentines Day release is just adorable and I can't wait to share all my projects with you!

Today is Day 1 of the release and we are showcasing the new Words of Love stamp set and Big Love Confetti Cuts. I used the stamp and die set to make an adorable treat box and coordinating wrapping paper for a gift! This is super easy to put together and is perfect for that special someone in your life!

For the treat box, I used a template that I found online to assemble my box out of baby pink cardstock. I ink blended the bottom half the box using shades of purple and pink dye inks. I then splattered some white paint as always! I heat embossed the sentiments from the Words of Love stamp set and die cut the Big Love using Rose gold and light pink cardstock. I also used the heart that comes with the Big Love die to die cut the window that allows you get a quick sneak peak at the treats! I also adhered the 'heart border' from the die cut to create intertwined hearts!
